The Christian Academy Difference Through The Eyes of the Class of 2026

From overcoming reading struggles to discovering passions and lifelong friendships, the Christian Academy Schools Class of 2026 demonstrates what can happen when students are known, supported, and encouraged to grow.

As graduates have reflected on the best parts of their time at CAS, one theme has surfaced repeatedly: community. The school’s close-knit environment and multi-aged relationships made teachers, administrators, and classmates feel like extended family.

Peyton Smith, a student since fourth grade, said, “When I was younger, I didn’t have many friends. But CAS has helped me the most with relationships. The friends I have now accept me for who I am. I never felt more connected.”

Becca Keller, who joined CAS in kindergarten, said, “CAS does a good job of making opportunities available to everyone. When I wanted to play the violin, they made it happen. Now we have a full orchestra. Then, they created Chess Club, and we have fifty members now.”

Emmalee Carter, who attended CAS for almost ten years, said, “Being able to take part in the work co-op has really prepared me for my future. Since I started interning at the YMCA, I am more convinced and prepared to pursue a degree in early childhood education.”

Noah Bundy, a student since eighth grade, said, “When I first came, I was reading at a second-grade level. Now, I read at a twelfth-grade level and have grown academically so much.” He expressed gratitude for his teacher, Mrs. Michael. “Looking back on the rough days, I appreciated how she cared and would let me take a break when I needed to. It made a difference.”

Christian Academy Schools is committed to preparing graduates for higher education and meaningful work. More importantly, we are committed to showing graduates how to live with grace and compassion, and to love, serve, and minister effectively to people from all walks of life.
